Newest 3D piece - unfinished

so as you know i did a post of my artist book well i have added a new piece to it which may take some time to finish.
As you can see i have found some spare string hanging about my nans and i used it to create a 3-dimensional piece of artwork with curved lines comming from a corner of the page. i am currently debating wither to use water colours for the background and a acrylic paint on the string with a small paint brush but im not sure, i'll figure it out
